About

FICTION REFORM is a rock band playing Punk-inspired, Pop-oriented tunes. The band consists of four experienced musicians who have toured, recorded, and promoted in the past with such acts as BULLET TREATMENT, THE LAST GANG & CIVET. In 2011 and 2013, Fiction Reform was nominated for two Orange County Music Awards, Best Live Act and Best Punk Band.

While having a relatively short amount of time on the Southern California music scene, buzz began to get around from the first song posted on their Myspace page. ESPN contacted the band wanting to use their song “Small Silhouette” as a featured track on SPORTSCENTER. Shortly thereafter GC Records asked for the track to be included on a compilation CD “Protect 2: A Benefit to Protect Children”. That in turn fell into the hands of the staff at XM/Sirius Satellite Radio and they contacted the label asking for an copy of “Small Silhouette” to be put into rotation on THE FACTION show (channels XM 52 & Sirius 28). In the months following, Fiction Reform was heard on MTV’s “The Dudesons in America” and “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and has released three official music videos. Fiction Reform has shared the stage with many established punk acts such as the Misfits, Social Distortion, Adolescents, The Vandals, Riverboat Gamblers, Channel 3, Agent Orange, and many more. They have also been heard at multiple music festivals including Punk Rock Picnic, Seattle SoundFest, Way Out West Fest and is continuing touring efforts to support their first full-length release “Revelations in the Palms of the Weak” along side their sophomore release “Take Your Truth“.
